Museum Surprise Proposal : National Portrait Gallery in Washington DC

Abby thought they were taking date night photos before a gala Colin had tickets to, so they met up with me at the National Portrait Gallery in downtown Washington DC. We spent a wonderful hour taking photos in the Kogod Courtyard, and once we made our way to the Luce Gallery, Colin knew the best moment to propose. Of all the proposals I’ve photographed, Abby’s reaction is one of the purest, most fun surprised reactions yet! I just loved their vision for black & white engagement photos throughout the museum.
